High voltage warning signs.

Field-proven signage for substations, switchyards, and power infrastructure. Built to outlast the assets they protect.

Built for Energy Infrastructure.

Identimark manufactures high voltage warning signs on our field-proven substrate. Graphics are embedded below the surface. Protected from sun, abrasion, and chemical attack. Every sign carries U3's lifetime guarantee.

Independently tested for 32+ years across Australian and New Zealand power industry infrastructure. Our signs remain legible long after standard materials have failed.

Substations and Switchyards
Every access point needs danger high voltage signage. Perimeter gates, building entries, equipment enclosures, switchgear bays. Substations are among the harshest environments for signage. Direct sun, temperature extremes, and airborne contaminants. Our signs do not fade, crack, or peel.

Transmission and Distribution
Towers, pole-mounted transformers, pad-mounted transformers, cable termination points. Overhead power line signage is critical at road crossings, construction zones, and farm access points where non-electrical workers encounter power infrastructure.

Generation and Industrial
Power stations, wind farms, solar farms, and industrial plants all contain high voltage equipment. Data centres with high-powered electrical distribution need compliant signage at every access point.

FAQs.

How long do standard high voltage signs last outdoors?

Plastic, vinyl, and painted metal signs typically fade, crack, or peel within two to five years. Identimark signs are independently tested with 32+ years of field-proven performance. Installations from the early 1990s are still in service and fully legible.

What is the difference between a danger sign and a warning sign?

A danger sign is used when the hazard could kill on contact. A warning sign applies where the hazard is serious but not immediately fatal. Your electrical engineer or safety assessor determines which applies at each location.

Can high voltage signs be customised with specific voltage ratings?

Yes. We manufacture custom signs with exact voltage ratings for your installation. We also include facility names, asset identifiers, and emergency contacts. All custom signs carry the same lifetime guarantee.

Do I need reflective high voltage signs?

Reflective signs are required wherever signs must be readable in low light or at night. Substations, switchyards, and any location with shift workers or after-hours access typically need reflective versions.

Can you handle large rollouts across a network?

Yes. We manufacture network-wide signage programs covering hundreds or thousands of signs to a single specification. One supplier, consistent quality, delivered in bulk. Talk to us about your project.
