Identimark was approached to address a critical issue on transmission poles within the client’s power network in South Australia.
The identification signs on these poles were fading quickly, requiring frequent replacements.
With transmission poles in proximity to power lines, it was essential to have clear, durable identification markers to prevent accidental contact, a major safety risk for workers and equipment.
Fading signage not only posed a safety risk but also increased maintenance costs for the client due to regular replacements.
The client sought a durable, low-maintenance solution that would withstand the Australian climate and maintain visibility over time.
Identimark worked collaboratively with the client to trial and select U3 signs for these transmission poles. The U3 signs offered several key advantages:
This tailored approach enabled our client to achieve a solution that minimised labor costs, improved safety, and significantly reduced maintenance needs.
The U3 signs’ durability ensures that these transmission poles will remain clearly marked for decades, helping the client save on maintenance and enhancing the safety of the power network.
