The Story Behind The Project
Project Overview
Owner: Infratec
Naumai Solar Farm, located in the rural area of Ruawai in Northland, New Zealand, is a forward-thinking project that aims to contribute towards energy independence in the region.
With 7,500 solar panels that track the movement of the sun across the day, this solar farm is designed to provide most of the Ruawai district’s daytime energy needs.
This project is another successful collaboration between Identimark and Infratec, where our expertise in durable signage played a critical role in meeting the project's long-term goals.
- Our Contribution to Energy Independence: The solar farm powers most of Ruawai district's daytime energy needs, supporting Northland's energy goals.
- 40+ Year Durability: U3 signage ensures a maintenance-free lifespan exceeding 40 years.
- Efficient Installation: Easy-to-install U3 signage provides lasting reliability.
What Needed To Be Solved
Challenge
Infratec required that the Naumai Solar Farm be equipped to operate efficiently and with minimal maintenance over a 30-year lifespan.
This necessitated the use of high-quality, long-lasting products that could withstand the environmental conditions and ensure reliable performance over the decades.
The Solution
How We Helped
For this project, Identimark conducted a comprehensive design scope to align with Infratec’s specifications for signage and labeling.
Utilising the benefits of our U3 signage, along with the Nat-gum backing, installation was not only efficient but ensured that the signage would last a lifetime.
